About Us

A BIT OF HISTORY

The Shangri-la Buddhist Institute was established in 2009 by the Shangri-la Tulku Kyabje Khyungser Trichen Rinpoche in Switzerland.

His Eminence is the reincarnation of the Dharma King Trichen Gendun Tsultrim of Gyalthang Shangri-la. Under the spiritual guidance of Kyabje Khyungser Rinpoche, we are devoted to preserving the teachings of Je Tsongkhapa in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition.
